Meals on Wheels
Volunteers are needed to deliver meals during lunch Monday through Friday (excluding holidays) to clients in Richfield and southwes Minneapolis every four weeks. Drivers are provided packaged meals and the list of clients for the day they are driving. A reliable car, a willingness to help others and an interest in providing a friendly greeting to someone who may not see anyone else that day is all that is required, and drivers may specify what community areas they would like to work in.
The next scheduled week of service is July 11-15. Contact the church office if you're interested.

Helping Hand Fund
Please bring your dimes (or quarters, nickels, pennies or other coins) and place them in the offering plate on Helping Hand Sunday (3rd Sunday of the Month) in an envelope marked with "Helping Hand Fund." This offering stays within the church to confidentially help members in need.
Feed My Starving Children
A new (to Emerson) service activity in Eagan - contact Genie G. to help out or check out the display in the narthex. For more information, visit their website.
M&M™ Fundraiser to benefit Feed My Starving Children - As part of our "Missions & Mercy" Month at Emerson, we are raising money for a local charity with global impact. After enjoying a small canister of everyone's favorite candy coated chocolate, fill the canister with quarters ($15 worth, to be exact) and return it to the drop box in the Narthex. Our goal is to raise $1,000 for Feed My Starving Children. Stay tuned for more information and announcements about this fundraiser in the coming weeks.
Taft Park Spring and Fall Cleanup
We show our support for the Richfield community and our church softball team by volunteering to clean up Taft Park in the spring and the fall.
